FACTUREE – <br>The Online Manufacturer

The Berlin-based online manufacturer FACTUREE digitizes the procurement process for drawing parts. To this end, the company has built up an extensive production network of around 2,000 manufacturing partners from almost all areas of production technology, including CNC machining, 3D printing, casting and forging processes and surface technology. Around 15,000 machines are constantly available for commissioning in the network. This enables manufacturing companies to procure parts in a contemporary way, eliminating dependence on suppliers.

In 2017, the company started as a first mover in the DACH region with a prototype for a small supplier network and developed a complex ERP system and its own pricing algorithm. Today, FACTUREE’s platform-based online production can be used to realize prototyping projects as well as small and large series production. All manufacturing partners are covered by a data-driven, ISO 9001-certified quality management system.

TheThe digitalization solution simplifies and accelerates a number of process steps: the enquiry process already saves a lot of time compared to competing instant pricing tools – especially for large quantities. On the part of the platform, the quotation calculation time has been reduced from the market average of 5-6 days to 1-2 days. Thanks to efficient resource management in CNC prototype construction, the delivery time in this area has also been reduced from the usual 5-6 weeks to 2-3 weeks.

Wide-ranging service portfolio for the platform user, e.g. market analysis and identification of “pain points” of engineers and technical buyers in the procurement of drawing parts. During projects, FACTUREE is the sole contract partner and contact and takes full responsibility for on-time delivery and quality of the parts.
